After the heated exchange between Rosie and Elisabeth on The View Wednesday, it appears Rosie has had enough. ABC has reported that Rosie has asked for an early leave.
In a statement today, Brian Frons, the president of Disney-ABC's Daytime Television Group, said, "We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to 'The View' and wish her well."
Rosie was supposed to finish her contract with The View and her last day was scheduled to be June 21, 2007.
Rosie posted a Video on her Blog with a collage of pictures which included her co-hosts and answers on her blog also hinted she would not be back to finish the weeks remaining on her contract.
Rosie brought new life to The View and some very controversial topics. She had the courage to talk about subjects that most were afraid of including the fact that evidence clearly points to controled demoliton on WTC7.
I never watched The View prior to Rosie and I will NOT watch it now that she is gone. It will not be the same without her and it will be hard if not impossible for them to replace her.
I can't thank Rosie enough for everything she did to get the truth out and to stand up to the Neo-Cons that started an illegal war.
THANK YOU ROSIE!

I feel sorry for her and I wish her all the best. I wish there were more celebrities that had the guts to speak out about 9/11 and the war. Where were all her friends when she needed them?
Thank you Rosie :)
